LIKES AND DISLIKES ABOUT LIVING IN GUADALAJARA

I like Guadalajara because is a big and modern city located almost at the middle of Mexico, for that reason you can get to any place of the Mexican Republic from here quickly, There's an international airport, so you also can get to another country easily. The people are friendly and kind, here you can find anything you want, and you can live quietly and in a comfortable way; maybe the traffic isn't a good thing or there're an increase population, although you can stay here forever and still loving its places and of course its people. To sum up in Guadalajara there are problems like in other cities around the world but it is a great place to living.

WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING THAT WE NEED TO TEACH CHILDREN?

I think the most important is to teach them the universal values as honesty, responsibility, respect, tolerance and all this kind of information that help them to live in harmony with themselves and with the society. In addition to their learning in an other subjects that give them important information about history, math, spanish, english, etc., in other words general knowledge. In conclusion both things let them the tools to grow and develop at any area they want.

WHAT IS SOMETHING THAT YOU WISH YOU COULD BE TALENTED AT, AND WHY?

I wish, I could be talented as an English Teacher because is the profession that I've had for ten years. Since I started this job I felt that I need to develop my abilities as a Teacher, to get my students enjoy learning English, furthermore I would like they be interested on it and can find the easy way to learn. That's the reason because I wish to be a good teacher, because it is my present and maybe my future.

WHERE WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE PROFESSIONALLY IN TEN YEARS?

To imagine what I am going to do in ten years is pretty hard to me, because I haven't decided yet what I'm going to do at the present time. I would like to do something I enjoy it and where I'll be able to develop myself on a personal and a professional way. I'd like to be a successful executive or an excellent teacher, but I'm not sure about this. What I know is that I have to be clear on it, to focus in my goals and priorities.

WHAT ARE THE CHARACTERISTICS OF A GOOD PARENT?

What is a good parent?....
I think a good parent is the one who try to do his best in all forms he could be, the one who be prepared and ask for help to others, also professionally, when he needs it . Must of all is a person that be able to give love at an uncoditional form.
However ,the perfection doesn't exist and neither the perfect parents or the perfect childen, so they'll make mistakes, but the key is to be able to correct that mistakes at the right time. In conclusion , I think a good parent is the one Who do the best as he can and always is there when the children need to support , to take care and to love them.

IF YOU COULD HAVE ANY JOB OR PROFESSION, WHAT WOULD YOU BE?

The first job I choose if I can, could be as a singer, I would like to be a successful artist and to perform an international show all over the world. My favorite singers are Shakira and Julieta Venegas, so the kind of music that I play could be in that way; in addition I could sing some mexican songs. I would like to be a singer with a great voice, but most of all to be an excellent interpreter who can touch the hearts of all my fans, and also wrtite my own songs.

MY IDEAL HOME

If I dream in my ideal home it must be large and white...

I like the big spaces with many windows around them, where the fresh air and the view outside are one of the most importants things of the house, of course this view most be to the sea. In the decoration inside I prefer the "minimalistic" style (the one that only put the basic and necesary things to decorate, not many frames, flower pots, handicrafts etc.) and of course in white too. Spacious bedrooms with bathroom and dressing room, a comfortable living room, dining room and a big and practical kitchen. Maybe a volleyball and basketball court and of course a nice swimming pool and a beautiful garden complement my ideal home.

HOW DID YOU FEEL WHEN YOU WERE FIRST LEARNING ENGLISH?

The first feeling I have when I started to study english was insecure about myself and the kind of lessons I had. I studied turism, we were almost 40 students in the classroom and the lessos were of the basic level with the traditional text book to complete sentences, we don't have conversation club or an other tool to help us with our learning. Because of that I tried with an extra English course and then I started to studying at PROULEX.

I think that been a student is one of my best roles in life, so I was a good english student, although that my abilities were always better at writing and reading than at listening or speaking, even in the spanish language. To sum up I felt insecure as a first english student and I still feeling like that.
